American Cowboy on an American quarter horse posting the American Flag at an American rodeo. When I was rodeoing all the time the pickup riders and their horses were the ones who usually posted the colors at the beginning of the rodeo. Always loved that as well as have great respect for good pickup horses and their riders. The pick up riders are the cowboys cowboy, or cowgirl as there are women pick up riders on the rodeo trail too. They can be a bronc riders "salvation" in a "storm" and they let you down easy after the ride!! I was usually setting down on a bronc when the colors were posted and a prayer was given at the start of the rodeo. You still removed your hat out of respect for our countries flag and said a prayer too!!! That's American Original!
