DESCRIPTION
This painting was done at dusk along one of the many canals in Amsterdam with a bridge in the distance. I enjoy the chance to portray dusk just as it darkens enough for the lights inside the windows to start to shine. Amsterdam is one of my favorite cities to paint because it is a delightful combination of architecture and water.
