Who isn't fascinated with ladybugs, originally known as ladybirds. They are members of the beetle family; which I loved to watch as a child as they flew off to a new destination. My mother taught me the poem "Ladybird, ladybird, fly away home" when I was a child and that still comes to mind if I see a ladybug flying away. This 8" x 10" acrylic painting is done on gallery wrapped canvas and is sold unframed. It is the perfect size to fit on a small place or to add to a group of other small paintings.
