“I’ve never seen a really good painting of a campfire - I think I’ll paint one!” These were Stephen’s words as he began "A Mountain Campfire." This was the first of what became known as his “firelight series.” It began with this campfire but, never content to do the same thing over and over, Stephen also explored candlelight, lantern light and even lightning. This is the first campfire painted by Stephen Lyman and is one of the original prints on paper.limited edition on paper, off set lithograph, edition of 1500.
