I did a painting a few days ago that I liked and wanted to make some variation of this theme This is a painting of a woman (could be any of us, really). She is sitting at her back table with a dear friend. I thought quite a bit about this painting before I began. I wanted to have warm and cool in this piece.The recent hot days prompted me to paint and see how it would "happen". The cat here is obviously loved! Kitty is on the table, for cryin' out loud!
