Original Romantic rendering in acrylic on canvas. Interior. San't Antimo Abbey, Tuscany Secluded in a nearby chamber, the monks filled the air with their Gregorian Chant. We were enveloped in the songs of the monks and the history each stone of this interior spoke about. The penetrating light from a window above shown down with glorious rays... the stone floor worn smooth by the procession of worshipers over five hundred years... the vibrations of the chant... I was inspired.
